Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a nanoestructuras autoensambladas que comprenden polialquilenimina (PAI) y una proteína transmembrana solubilizada con detergente, tal como una proteína acuaporina. Más específicamente, la invención se relaciona con nanoestructuras autoensambladas cuya nanoestructura se forma por el autoensamblaje de la PEI cargada positivamente en presencia de la proteína cuando está cargada negativamente. La presente invención se relaciona además con una composición líquida que comprende una nanoestructura autoensamblada de la presente descripción. Además se refiere a un método para preparar dicha composición líquida. y a una membrana de separación, tal como en forma de una membrana semipermeable o selectivamente permeable, que comprende nanoestructuras autoensambladas como se describe en la presente descripción y al uso de las mismas.
