Abstract
Durante la salida de la cabeza de banda (7) de una banda de metal (1) desde una caja de laminación (2a), mediante un dispositivo de registro (8) en al menos un lugar (P) situado entre la caja de laminación (2a) y un dispositivo (8) dispuesto aguas abajo se registra una posición lateral (y) de la cabeza de banda (7). Un regulador de posición de banda (10) está configurado como regulador predictivo por modelo que, basándose en la posición lateral registrada (y) de la cabeza de banda (7) calcula una secuencia de comandos de ajuste (uk) que va a emitirse sucesivamente con un ciclo de trabajo (T), mediante la cual en cada caso se ajusta una cuña separadora de laminación. El número de comandos de ajuste (uk) define junto con el ciclo de trabajo (T) un horizonte de predicción (PH) del regulador de posición de banda (10). El regulador de posición de banda (10) actúa sobre la caja de laminación (2a) al menos con el comando de ajuste (u0) calculado que va a emitirse en siguiente lugar.
