Abstract
Un sistema, un método y un producto de programa informático para estimar el alargamiento axial futuro de un ojo de un individuo como manera de predecir y realizar un seguimiento de la progresión del error refractivo de un individuo; el método incluye: recibir, a través de una interfaz informática, datos relativos al cambio refractivo en un período de tiempo predeterminado anterior para el individuo a partir de un momento de referencia; recibir datos que representen una edad del individuo y datos que representen un valor de longitud axial actual del ojo tal como se mide en el momento de referencia; calcular, mediante dicho procesador, un futuro alargamiento axial del ojo en función de la edad de la persona, el valor de longitud axial actual del ojo, medido en el momento de referencia, y el cambio refractivo en el período de tiempo predeterminado anterior; generar una indicación de salida de dicho alargamiento axial calculado del ojo y usar dicha indicación de salida para seleccionar un tratamiento de control de la miopía para dicho individuo.
