Abstract
Se describe un proceso para (i) producir E-1,1,1,4,4,4- hexafluoro-2-buteno (E-HFO-1336mzz) a partir de Z-1,1,1,4,4,4- hexafluoro-2-buteno (Z-HFO-1336mzz), que comprende las etapas de (a) proveer un material de partida que comprende Z-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-buteno, (b) poner en contacto el material de partida con un catalizador apropiado en una zona de reacción para producir E-HFO-1336mzz y opcionalmente, (c) recuperar el E-HFO-1336mzz. El proceso puede ser efectuado en fase gaseosa o en fase líquida y como un proceso por lotes o como un proceso continuo.
