Abstract

El proceso para fabricar un cable de aislamiento para alto voltaje mejorado cuando se utiliza una composición que comprende en porcentaje en peso basado en el peso de la composición: (A) de 95 a 99.9% de un polímero a base de etileno; (B) de 0.2 a 2.5% de peróxido; (C) de 0.01 a 0.5% de un primer antioxidante que contiene azufre que tiene al menos un grupo -S(CH2)2CO2R, en donde R es alquilo C6 a C20; (D) de 0.001 a 0.009% de un segundo antioxidante que contiene azufre que no contiene un grupo - S(CH2)2CO2R, en el que R es un alquilo C6 a C20; (E) opcionalmente, una base nitrogenada orgánica; y (F) opcionalmente, un tercer antioxidante fenólico que no contiene un grupo - S(CH2)2CO2R, en el que R es un alquilo C6 a C20.
