Abstract
Un acero de alta resistencia comprende, durante el recocido intercrítico, aproximadamente 20-80% en volumen de ferrita y 20-80% de austenita, y en donde la temperatura Ms calculada para la fase austenita durante el recocido intercrítico <100 °C; el acero de alta resistencia exhibe una elongación de tensión de por lo menos 20% y una resistencia a tensión última de por lo menos 880 MPa; el acero de alta tensión puede comprender 0.20-0.30% en peso de C, 3.0-5.0% en peso de Mn, con adiciones de Al y Si de modo que la temperatura intercrítica óptima está por encima de 700 °C.
