Abstract
Una máquina de hielo para formar hielo con un sistema de refrigeración, un sistema de agua y un controlador. El sistema de refrigeración incluye una placa de refrigeración en la cual se forma hielo y una válvula de gas caliente para recolectar el hielo de ella. Un sensor de recolección se activa cuando se recolecta al menos una parte de hielo de la placa de congelación y al menos un sensor de temperatura mide una temperatura que indique que se ha recolectado la totalidad del hielo de la placa de congelación. Los sensores de temperatura pueden incluir un sensor de temperatura para medir la temperatura de refrigerante en la salida del evaporador, la temperatura del refrigerante en la entrada del evaporador y/o la temperatura de la placa de congelación. El controlador cierra la válvula de gas caliente en respuesta a la activación del sensor de recolección y a que la temperatura medida por el o los sensores de temperatura indique que se haya recolectado la totalidad del hielo de la placa de congelación.
