Abstract

La invención se refiere a un sistema de transporte ferroviario (1) que comprende: al menos un convoy (5) que incluye vehículos ferroviarios (7A, 7B, 7C, 7D), que comprenden un dispositivo de almacenamiento (20) para almacenar potencia eléctrica, y una pluralidad de estaciones (10) en las cuales el convoy está adaptado para detenerse sucesivamente, al menos uno (7A) de los vehículos ferroviarios que es una unidad de tracción que comprende un dispositivo de tracción a bordo (22) adaptado para mover el vehículo ferroviario entre cualquiera de las dos estaciones sucesivas de la pluralidad de estaciones, el dispositivo de tracción que consume potencia de tracción eléctrica a medida que se mueve, el dispositivo de almacenamiento del vehículo ferroviario (7A) que está adaptado de modo que el mismo solo suministre la potencia de tracción eléctrica al dispositivo de tracción a medida que se mueve, y cada estación que comprende un dispositivo de recarga (40) para recargar los dispositivos de almacenamiento, el dispositivo de recarga que comprende unidades de distribución (80) que están adaptadas para estar en contacto eléctrico con los dispositivos de almacenamiento cuando el convoy se detiene en la estación y para suministrar potencia eléctrica a los dispositivos de almacenamiento.
