Abstract

Système de transport ferroviaire (1) comprenant : - au moins une rame (5) comportant des véhicules ferroviaires (7A, 7B, 7C, 7D), comprenant un dispositif de stockage (20) propre à stocker une énergie électrique, et - une pluralité de stations (10) dans lesquelles la rame est adaptée pour s'arrêter successivement, au moins l'un (7A) des véhicules ferroviaires étant un véhicule moteur comprenant un dispositif de traction (22) embarqué adapté pour déplacer le véhicule ferroviaire entre deux stations successives quelconques de ladite pluralité, le dispositif de traction consommant une énergie électrique de traction pendant le déplacement, le dispositif de stockage du véhicule ferroviaire (7A) étant adapté pour fournir à lui seul l'énergie électrique de traction pendant le déplacement, et chaque station comprenant un dispositif de recharge (40) des dispositifs de stockage, le dispositif de recharge comportant des unités de distribution (80) adaptées pour être respectivement en contact électrique avec les dispositifs de stockage lorsque la rame est arrêtée dans ladite station, et pour fournir respectivement lesdites énergies électriques aux dispositifs de stockage.
