Abstract

Se proporciona un aparato de escalera orientada verticalmente que permite a un escalador adoptar una postura de ascenso mejorada, en donde los brazos del escalador se disponen ergonómicamente enfrente del escalador dentro del pasaje de ascenso; las piernas del escalador se extienden para la estabilidad lateral del escalador, con el fin de reducir la tendencia del escalador a caer de lado; y el escalador está sustancialmente erguido, de un modo tal que el centro de gravedad del escalador yace sustancialmente entre los escalones opuestos con el fin de permitir al escalador liberar su sujeción en las barandillas, mientras permanece equilibrado y soportado por las piernas del escalador.
