Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para facilitar la identificación de productos químicos objetivo que pueden ser detectados por medio de un espectrómetro de movilidad de iones y a un sistema para implementarlo. En un aspecto de la invención, se proporciona un proceso para determinar la relación de especies de iones reactivos Cl- a Cl-.OOH formadas en un espectrómetro de movilidad de iones dopado con pentacloroetano que opera en modo negativo, dicho proceso comprende: i) introducir una muestra que comprende o consiste esencialmente en isoflurano en el espectrómetro de movilidad de iones dopado con pentacloroetano; ii) recolectar datos relevantes para la detección de dos iones de monómero de isoflurano formados después de la reacción con las especies de iones reactivos Cl- y Cl-.OOH presentes en el espectrómetro de movilidad de iones dopado con pentacloroetano; y iii) determinar la relación de las especies de iones reactivos Cl- a Cl-.OOH formadas en el espectrómetro de movilidad de iones dopado con pentacloroetano con base en una evaluación de los datos recolectados.
