Abstract
En la reacción de halogenación de olefina/halo-olefina (es decir, compuesto orgánico), una cantidad en exceso de halógeno gaseoso (flúor, cloro, bromo vaporizado y yodo, o su combinación) se usa normalmente para lograr una conversión lo más completa posible del compuesto orgánico. En un proceso convencional, el exceso de halógeno gaseoso en la corriente de gas residual es lavado por una solución cáustica que aumenta el consumo de halógeno y genera residuos para ser desechados. La presente invención provee un nuevo proceso para recuperar y reutilizar el exceso de halógeno gaseoso y así reducir el costo de operación del proceso.
