Abstract

La presente invención en el campo tecnológico de aleaciones de hierro fundido para aplicaciones automovilísticas y similares; problema a resolver: actualmente, las piezas estructurales de motores de combustión interna se fabrican o en aleaciones de hierro fundido gris que raramente presentan una escala del límite de resistencia a la tracción superior a 350 MPa o aleaciones de hierro fundido vermicular que no se mantienen estables en temperaturas elevadas; solución del problema: se muestra una aleación de hierro fundido vermicular que, en función de la adición de cantidades de molibdeno, cobre y estaño, con el factor de resistencia al calor de 0.5 a 1.7% (FRQ = 3 x (%Mo) + 1 x (%Sn) + 0.25 x (%Cu)) alcanza un límite de resistencia a la tracción de 500 a 550 MPa a temperatura ambiente y hasta 300°C, y un límite de resistencia a la tracción de 430 a 450 MPa a 400°C.
