Abstract
Obra flotante que comprende: una base de flotación, que comprende al menos un cuerpo esencialmente hueco susceptible de ser rellenado selectivamente con lastre, en la que la máxima dimensión horizontal de la base de flotación supera la máxima dimensión vertical de la base de flotación; una edificación soportada sobre dicha base de flotación comprendiendo preferentemente una torre de tipo telescópico; medios de empuje descendente; y al menos tres cables de retención, cuyos respectivos extremos superiores quedan unidos a dicha base de flotación, preferiblemente en posiciones perimetrales de la base de flotación, y cuyos respectivos extremos inferiores quedan unidos a dichos medios de empuje descendente, de forma que dichos cables de retención están en tensión y aplican sobre dicha base de flotación una fuerza descendente que incrementa la estabilidad de la obra flotante. Y procedimiento de instalación de tal obra flotante.
