Abstract

La invención proporciona composiciones de pigmento de óxido de metal mezclado inorgánico dispersadas que utilizan un ácido carboxílico, que contienen dispersante y un pigmento de óxido de metal mezclado. El pigmento de óxido de metal es del tipo utilizado para colorear artículos de cerámica o vidrio. El dispersante, además de por lo menos un grupo de ácido carboxílico, comprende por lo menos una cadena de solubilización de 300-3000 g/mol de unidades de repetición de hidrocarbileno o unidades de repetición de éteres de alquileno de C3 o C4 o mezclas de los éteres. También se describe un proceso de molienda que utiliza cuentas para reducir el tamaño de partícula del óxido de metal mezclado al intervalo deseado. También se describe un método para utilizar la dispersión de óxido de metal mezclado para imprimir digitalmente una imagen sobre un artículo de cerámica o vidrio utilizando la dispersión en chorro a través de una boquilla y al cocer el artículo coloreado.
