Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un acero inoxidable dúplex austenítico ferrítico que tiene alta formabilidad utilizando el efecto TRIP y alta resistencia a la corrosión con un equivalente de resistencia a corrosión por picaduras equilibrado. El acero inoxidable dúplex contiene menos de 0.04% en peso de carbono, 0.2-0.8% en peso de silicio, menos de 2.0% en peso de manganeso, 16.5-19.5% en peso de cromo, 3.0 - 4.7 % en peso de níquel, 1.4 - 4.0% en peso de molibdeno, menos de 3.5% en peso de tungsteno, menos de 1% en peso de cobre, 0.13 - 0.26% en peso de nitrógeno, el resto siendo fierro e impurezas inevitables que ocurren en aceros inoxidables.
