Abstract

Un sistema para la determinación del tiempo y ubicación de llegada de un tren, el sistema incluye por lo menos una computadora programada o configurada para: (a) recibir por lo menos una ubicación deseada asociada con una ruta del tren hacia adelante; (b) determinar el tiempo de llegada requerido en la por lo menos una ubicación en función por lo menos parcialmente de la ubicación actual del flanco anterior del tren; (c) determinar el tiempo estimado de llegada del flanco anterior del tren a la por lo menos una ubicación en función por lo menos parcialmente de la ubicación actual del flanco anterior del tren y la velocidad actual del tren; y (d) en función por lo menos parcialmente de la diferencia entre el tiempo requerido determinado de llegada y el tiempo estimado determinado de llegada, generar una velocidad deseada del tren. También se proporciona un método implementado por computadora para determinar un tiempo de llegada y una ubicación deseados.
