Abstract
Se describe un método para impregnar un material fibroso con una resina curable para formar un preimpregnado (22). El método incluye transportar un material de red a través al menos un punto de contacto de presión móvil formado entre un rodillo de presión móvil (54) y una superficie de soporte móvil, donde el rodillo de presión móvil (54) y la superficie de soporte móvil se desplazan a velocidades diferentes entre sí, lo cual da como resultado una velocidad relativa (vrel) entre el material de red y el punto de contacto de presión. Al menos un punto de contacto de presión móvil se desplaza en la misma dirección que el material de red mientras aplica una presión suficiente para comprimir el material de red y para producir la impregnación del material fibroso con la resina curable.
