Abstract
En la presente se describen un sistema y el método de ventanillas laterales del vehículo para implementar una estrategia de desprendimiento de hielo. La estrategia de desprendimiento de hielo recibe y analiza información de sensor proveniente de uno o más sensores ambientales para determinar cuándo implementar preventivamente una rutina de desprendimiento de hielo. La estrategia de desprendimiento de hielo también puede monitorear uno o más componentes del sistema de ventanillas laterales del vehículo para determinar cuándo detener la rutina de desprendimiento de hielo.
