Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a la transferencia de momento de torsión entre una primera unidad, que es típicamente una máquina móvil o un robot, y una segunda unidad, que es típicamente una maquina fija o estacionaria; las unidades se disponen de tal manera que un acoplador de impulsión de la primera unidad diseñado para entregar momento de torsión sobre un eje de impulsión puede engranar el acoplador impulsado, que pertenece a la segunda unidad y tiene un eje impulsado, a lo largo de una dirección de engranaje que es casi perpendicular a la dirección del eje impulsado; un mecanismo de desplazamiento lateral se proporciona en la primera unidad para lograr una alineación coaxial de primer orden entre los ejes de impulsión e impulsado; se proporcionan medidas adicionales tales como mecanismos de adaptabilidad para mejorar el engranaje, el acoplamiento y reducir el nivel de desalineación axial en el aparato y los métodos de la invención.
