Abstract
Se describe un método para modernizar y aumentar la capacidad de una planta auto-despojadora de urea que comprende la instalación de una nueva sección (6) de síntesis de despojamiento de CO2, donde al menos una parte de la solución acuosa de urea (10) que sale de dicha nueva sección (6) se dirige a la sección (4) de recuperación a baja presión de la planta auto-despojadora, pasando por alto a la sección (2) auto-despojadora existente a alta presión y la sección (3) de tratamiento a media presión.
