Abstract
Un ensamble de sello para su uso en una caja de engranes que tiene un anillo rotatorio para ser asegurado a un eje, y que tiene una cara de contacto. La cara de contacto empalma con un sello estacionario. El sello estacionario tiene un retenedor con un canal que se extiende a un fondo. Una porción de sello flotante está posicionada dentro del retenedor, con un resorte posicionado hacia el interior del extremo interior de la parte de sello flotante, y que desvía la parte de sello flotante hacia afuera. Hay un orificio interior del retenedor que está separado de la periferia exterior de la porción de sello flotante. Uno del orificio interior y la periferia exterior preside con la pluralidad de pasadores ubicados radialmente. El otro del orificio interior y la periferia exterior está formado con la pluralidad de rebajes. Los pasadores son recibidos en los rebajes, para impedir la rotación de la porción de sello flotante dentro del retenedor.
