Abstract

En un sistema de horno de arco eléctrico para hacer acero, un método y estructura (1) para eliminar las obstrucciones de colada y asegurar la homogeneidad de temperatura en una cuchara que vierte dentro de un molde de lingote mediante purgado de gas en todas las etapas posibles bajo condiciones tanto atmosféricas como de vacío, y (2) para evitar que aparezcan inclusiones no metálicas en el producto final al desviar el material granular en el bloque de pozo de cuchara de colada lejos del molde de lingote por medio de un deflector resistente al calor aunque combustible justo antes de la entrada de la corriente de colada dentro del molde de lingote.
