Abstract
La presente invención se refiere secuencias de ácidos nucleicos que codifican una proteína que, (1) bajo un promotor respectivo, puede suprimir o reprimir o retrasar la floración de una planta, y (2) incluye el motivo "NAPDIIDS" o, en casos preferidos, "VNAPDIIDS", con la excepción del ácido nucleico del gen StSP5G o una parte del mismo. Preferentemente, la secuencia de ácido nucleico pertenece filogenéticamente al ciado FT de la familia génica de PEBP, en la que el motivo"(V)NAPDIIDS" está en lugar del motivo "(V)YAPGW" de las proteínas promotoras de la floración AtFT y BvFT2. La invención también se refiere a péptidos o proteínas, obtenibles por expresión del ácido nucleico de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, vectores, que comprenden una secuencia de ácido nucleico tal como se ha definido anteriormente, y a plantas, partes de plantas o semillas de plantas, comprendiendo las plantas dicha secuencia de ácido nucleico.
