Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para la carbonitruración a baja presión de partes de acero, en particular partes utilizadas en la fabricación de automóviles, que comprende: un paso de calentamiento que incluye una fase de calentamiento simple (M), seguida por una fase de nitruración inicial (Ni) de una temperatura entre 700°C y 750°C a una temperatura entre 860°C y 1,000°C, y se lleva a cabo utilizando un gradiente de temperatura reducido, con relación a la fase de calentamiento simple; y pasos alternados de cementación (C1-Cn) y nitruración (N1-Nn) a temperatura constante, en donde el paso de nitruración final está acompañado por una disminución en la temperatura inmediatamente antes del paso de templado (T).
