Abstract

Se describe una composición y un método para cementar una cubierta en una perforación de un pozo usando una composición de cementación que comprende (a) agua, (b) una composición de cementación comprendiendo (i) un cemento hidráulico, (ii) un polímero aniónica e hidrofóbicamente modificado, (iii) un dispersante, y opcionalmente (iv) uno o más aditivos diferentes convencionalmente añadidos a composiciones acuosas de cementación útiles para cementar cubiertas en la perforación de pozos. De preferencia, la hidroxietil celulosa aniónica e hidrofóbicamente modificada tiene una substitución molar de óxido de etileno desde 0.5 hasta 3.5, un grado de hidrófobo de substitución desde 0.001 hasta 0.025, un grado aniónico de substitución desde 0.001 hasta 1, y un peso molecular promedio de peso desde 100,000 hasta 4,000,000 Daltones y el dispersante es polímero sulfonatado, condensado de melanina formaldehído, un condensado de naftaleno formaldehído, un polímero de policarboxilato ramificado o no ramificado.
