Abstract

Un sistema de usuario múltiple (MU)-antena múltiple (MAS) que explota áreas de coherencia en canales inalámbricos para crear flujos de datos múltiples que no interfieren para diferentes usuarios. En una modalidad, se usa precodificación no lineal o lineal para crear áreas de coherencia separadas para diferentes usuarios. A manera de ejemplo, la precodificación no lineal puede comprender codificación de papel impuro (DPC) o precodificación de Tomlinson-arashima y la precodificación lineal puede comprender diagonalización de bloque (BD) o formación de haz con fuerza cero (ZF-BF). Las técnicas de realimentación también pueden ser empleadas para enviar información de estado de canal (CSI) desde la pluralidad de usuarios al MU-MAS. En algunas modalidades se construye un código basado en funciones de base que cubren el campo radiado de una formación de trasmisión. Adicionalmente, se puede actualizar continuamente la precodificación para crear áreas de coherencia que no interfieran para los usuarios, a medida que cambia el canal inalámbrico debido al efecto Doppler. Además, se puede ajustar dinámicamente el tamaño de las áreas de coherencia, dependiendo de la distribución de los usuarios.
