Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y métodos para reducir o prevenir la pérdida de los fluidos de perforación y otros fluidos de servicio de pozos hacia dentro de una formación subterránea durante la perforación o construcción de sondeos en dicha formación. De una manera específica, esta invención comprende una composición curable capaz de tener polimerización de radicales libres para crear un material de circulación perdida in situ. La composición curable comprende un compuesto orgánico capaz de experimentar la (co)polimerización de radicales libres representada por la fórmula (I): en donde x es un entero a partir de 1 a 8; Fp comprende una o más fracciones que comprenden un grupo polimerizable por radicales libres; L es una fracción orgánica que comprende un grupo aromático (sustituido) o alifático (sustituido), el cual comprende uno o más de O, N, S, o combinaciones de los mismos; y Q comprende un radical orgánico mono- o poli-valente sustituido o insustituido, el cual comprende una o más fracciones seleccionadas a partir de alquilo, alquileno, alquenilo, cicloalquilo, cicloalquileno, arilo, aralquilo, alcarilo, poli-(oxi-alquileno), poli(carboalcoxi-alquil eno), un radical heterocíclico sustituido, o un radical heterocíclico insustituido.
