Abstract
En la presente se provee un método de separación eficiente de sólido-líquido para tratamiento de material de residuo ecológico. El método contempla la adición de ciertos polielectrolitos catiónicos (o "polímeros" como se usa en la presente) a los materiales de residuo ecológico antes de la separación de sólido-líquido, tal como centrifugación, de esta manera facilitan en gran manera el paso de separación posterior de sólido-líquido. La porción de líquido, una vez separada de porción de sólido usando los presentes métodos, se puede someter a más manipulaciones de recuperación de nutriente descendente (tal como precipitación de fosfato y separación de amoníaco) con eficiencia potencialmente mejor, o se puede usar directamente en un número de operaciones, tal como un diluyente líquido para alimentaciones en una planta de etanol.
