Abstract

Se describe un sistema de manejo de batería que incluye varios bloques de subsistemas, una unidad principal de almacenamiento de energía y varios sistemas de paquetes de baterías. La unidad principal de almacenamiento de energía se puede interconectar con el controlador principal del vehículo por medio de CAN u otro método de comunicación a un cargador externo. Así, hay un procesador para monitorear grupos de celdas de baterías, un segundo procesador para recolectar información adicional acerca de los grupos de celdas y un tercer módulo que toma información de alto nivel de cada procesador de grupo de celdas para procesar y hacer pasar a otros controladores de vehículo o controladores de cargador.
