Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un proceso novedoso para la preparación de amisulprido (I) que está relacionado con: metilación de 4-amino-salcílico-acido (VI) con sulfato de dimetilo y base, opcionalmente en presencia de TBAB para obtener 4-amino-2-metoxi benzoato de metilo (VII) y (ii) oxidación de 4-amino-2-metoxi-5-etil ácido tiobenzoico (IX) o 4-amino-5-etil benzoato de tiometilo (X) con agente oxidante en presencia del tungstato de sodio o molibdato de amonio para dar 2-metoxi-4-amino-5-etilo-sulfonil ácido benzoico (IV) o 2-metoxi-4-amino-5-etilo-sulfonil benzoato de metilo (XI) respectivamente.
