Abstract
Se proporciona un nuevo procedimiento para la preparación de cauchos de nitrilo mediante polimerización por radicales en un disolvente orgánico y en presencia de sustancias reguladoras especiales. A esta polimerización puede seguir una hidrogenación hasta dar cauchos de nitrilo hidrogenados igualmente nuevos, de forma ventajosa se realiza la hidrogenación igualmente en disolventes orgánicos. Los cauchos de nitrilo opcionalmente hidrogenados obtenidos se caracterizan porque presentan en la cadena principal polimérica o bien como grupos terminales fragmentos de las sustancias reguladoras usadas. Se pueden preparar con un amplia variedad de pesos moleculares e índices de polidispersidad, de forma particular con índices de polidispersidad muy bajos.
