Abstract
Un sistema de hermetización para un dispositivo de recubrimiento por inmersión en baño fundido para el recubrimiento de una banda de metal con un baño de metal fundido 200. El dispositivo de recubrimiento comprende un rodillo sumergido en el baño de metal fundido, para la desviación o estabilización de la banda de metal durante el paso por el baño de metal fundido 200, en donde el rodillo comprende un cuerpo de rodillo y un pivote de rodillo 224, así como una esclusa que rodea el pivote de rodillo 224 con una cámara de esclusa 232, y medios para el suministro de un medio gaseoso con una presión de gas a la cámara de esclusa 232 para cerrar herméticamente la cámara de esclusa 232 contra la entrada de baño de metal fundido 200. El sistema de hermetización comprende, en la zona de paso del pivote de rodillo 224 hacia la cámara de esclusa 232, una junta tórica 225 con forma de cilindro hueco, para el cierre hermético de la cámara de esclusa 232 contra la entrada de baño de metal fundido 200, en donde la junta tórica 225, con forma de cilindro hueco, se conforma de manera dividida paralelamente o en un ángulo cualquiera en relación con el eje de rotación del pivote de rodillo 224, y además, el sistema de hermetización comprende un casquillo 226 con forma de cilindro hueco, ranurado en la dirección del eje de rotación del pivote de rodillo 224, que rodea la junta tórica 225.
