Abstract

Se describe una composición de inhibidor de corrosión de tipo de liberación por solicitud para un sustrato metálico formado solo de copolímeros de formación de película eléctricamente no conductor: un grupo funcional x que contiene nitrógeno, en donde el grupo X comprende una piridina, una dihidropiridina, un pirrol, un imidazol, o mezclas de los mismos; y un anión de metalato. El anión de metalato se une a un nitrógeno en el grupo funcional X por emparejamiento de iones. Un enjuague localizado en pH se piensa que ocasiona que la liberación del anión vía una reacción de protonación/desprotonación y el anión liberado suprime la formación de corrosión. La composición de revestimiento incluye polímeros no eléctricamente conductores.
