Abstract

A fin de generar una se?al multicanal que comprende varios canales de salida mayores a varios canales de entrada, un se usa mezclador para convertir se?ales de entrada de est?reo a multicanal para formar al menos una se?al de canal directa y al menos una se?al de canal de caracter?stica tonal ambiental. Se proporciona un detector de se?ales vocales (18) para detectar una secci?n de la se?al de entrada, la se?al de canal directa o la se?al de canal de caracter?stica tonal ambiental en la cual ocurren las porciones de habla. Basado en esta detecci?n, un modificador de se?al (20) modifica la se?al de entrada o la se?al de canal de caracter?stica tonal ambiental a fin de atenuar porciones de habla en la se?al de canal de caracter?stica tonal ambiental, mientras que tales porciones de habla en la se?al de canal directa son atenuadas en menor grado o en absoluto. El medio de salida de se?al del altavoz (22) correlaciona la se?al de canal directo y las se?ales de canal de caracter?stica tonal ambiental en se?ales del altavoz que se asocian a un esquema de reproducci?n definido, tal como, por ejemplo, un esquema de sonido 5.1.
