Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un alimento que comprende por lo menos 30% por masa de cáscaras de cacao alcalinizadas con base en la masa total de cáscaras de cacao alcalinizadas y polvo de cacao en el alimento. También se proporciona un método para fabricar el alimento comprendiendo (i) alcalinizar cáscaras de cacao que han sido separadas de semillas de cacao usando un agente de alcalinización, y (ii) añadir las cáscaras de cacao alcalinizadas a un alimento.
