Abstract

Una tela compuesta de capas múltiples la cual comprende (a) una primera tela que comprende fibras orientadas unidireccionalmente, no tejidas, en una primera matriz de resma, las fibras que comprenden fibras de alta tenacidad, la primera tela que comprende primera y segunda superficies; y (b) una segunda tela que comprende fibras orientadas multidireccionalmente, opcionalmente en una segunda matriz de resma, la segunda tela que comprende también fibras de alta tenacidad, la segunda tela que tiene primera y segunda superficies, la primera superficie de la segunda tela que se une a la segunda superficie de la primera tela, formándose por ello la tela compuesta. También se describe un método para fabricar tal tela, en donde la segunda capa de tela se usa como un soporte durante el proceso de fabricación y se consolida después en una estructura única con la primera capa de tela.
