Abstract
Se presentan múltiples modalidades de un generador (10) de hidrogeno que dosifica, transporta o almacena una sola dosis de un componente combustible viscoso de la primera cámara (12) de combustible del área (38) de almacenamiento cuando la presión del hidrogeno interno (44, 44´) del generador de hidrogeno es elevada, y transporta esta dosis única hacia un componente combustible de hidruro metálico en la segunda cámara (14) de combustible cuando la presión interna es baja, de modo que los componentes combustibles líquido viscoso y de hidruro metálico reaccionan entre si para generar mas hidrogeno y para reiniciar el ciclo. El componente combustible viscoso puede ser agua o alcohol, como por ejemplo, metanol, en forma líquida o en gel; y el componente combustible de hidruro metálico puede ser borohidruro de sodio u otro hidruro metálico que reacciona químicamente con el combustible viscoso para generar hidrogeno. El componente combustible de hidruro metálico puede estar en forma solida o viscosa, por ejemplo, en forma acuosa.
