Abstract

Se describen técnicas para enviar una transmisión MIMO utilizando una combinación de diversidad de retardo cíclico y precodificación; se puede soportar un conjunto de retardos (por ejemplo, retardo cero, retardo pequeño, y retardo grande) para diversidad de retardo cíclico y un conjunto de matrices de precodificación; en un diseño, un Nodo B puede seleccionar un retardo específicamente para un UE o para un conjunto de UE que reciben servicio por parte del Nodo B; en otro diseño, un UE puede evaluar diferentes combinaciones de matriz de precodificación y retardo, determinar la combinación con el mejor rendimiento, y enviar esta combinación de matriz de precodifiación y retardo al Nodo B; el Nodo B puede ejecutar la precodificación con la matriz de precodificación y después realizar el procesamiento para diversidad de retardo cíclico con base en el retardo seleccionado; alternativamente, el Nodo B puede ejecutar procesamiento para diversidad de retardo cíclico con base en el retardo seleccionado y después precodificación con la matriz de precodificación.
