Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una estructura tipo panal que comprende una resma matriz y papel; el papel comprende de 50 a 80 partes en peso de material fibroso que tiene un módulo de 600 gramos por denier (550 gramos por dtex) o mayor, de O a 50 partes en peso de material inorgánico en polvo y 20 partes en peso o más de fibra termoplástica; la mejora que comprende la fibra termoplástica es un aglomerante para el papel y tiene una temperatura de fusión superior a la temperatura de curado de la resma matriz; una temperatura de transición vítrea mayor que 100 oc, y el peso molecular promedio del polímero termoplástico en las fibras termoplásticas cambia 20 % o menos después de mantenerse por 10 minutos a la temperatura de fusión. Una modalidad de esta invención incluye un artículo que comprende la estructura tipo panal mencionada anteriormente, y ese artículo incluye un panel o una estructura aerodinámica.
