Abstract

Se describen un sistema y método para la verificación de identidad de pasajeros. El sistema tiene por lo menos una verificación en el sistema con un lector de código de barras y un dispositivo de compilación de datos biométricos. Cuando un pasajero es verificado, un código de barras es colocado en los documentos de abordaje del pasajero, el código de barras es leído, y se compilan datos biométricos del pasajero. El sistema almacena en una base de datos de un servidor de manera que los datos del código de barras son asociados con los datos biométricos. El sistema además contiene por lo menos un sistema de verificación de punto de control con un lector de código de barras y un dispositivo de compilación de datos biométricos. Cuando el pasajero llega al sistema de verificación, el código de barras es leído y los datos biométricos son compilados del pasajero. Los datos biométricos son recuperados de la base de datos utilizando el código de barras leído a través del sistema de verificación y los datos biométricos recuperados del servidor son comparados con los datos compilados por el sistema de verificación.
