Abstract
Se describe un método para la remoción de un gas capturable con amina de una corriente de gas de alimentación usando un solvente de amina, el método comprende (a) poner en contacto la corriente de gas de alimentación con un solvente de amina pobre para formar un solvente de amina rico, en donde sales estables en calor están presentes en el solvente de amina rico; (b) separar gas capturable con amina del solvente de amina rico para formar un solvente de amina pobre y una corriente de reflujo de domos; (c) poner en contacto periódicamente al menos una porción de uno o ambos del solvente de amina pobre y el solvente de amina rico con una resina de intercambio aniónico para formar un primer solvente de amina pobre de sal estable bajo calor; (d) regenerar periódicamente la resina de intercambio aniónico, en donde durante la regeneración de la resina de intercambio aniónico, por lo menos una porción de la corriente de reflujo se usa para lavar el solvente de amina de la resina de intercambio iónico para producir un segundo solvente de amina pobre en sal estable en calor y (e) reciclar por lo menos una porción del primero y segundo solventes de amina pobres en sal estables en calor para usarse en la captura del gas capturable con amina del gas de alimentación.
