Abstract

Un metodo para retirar particulados coloidales submicronicos del agua, tales como hidrocarburos. El metodo incluye agregar en primer lugar un polimero cationico soluble, como quitosana, una sal o una solucion de quitosana, a agua que contenga los particulados submicronicos y un agente halogenante, posteriormente agregar un polimero anionico soluble o sal anionica soluble en el agua. Los floculos resultantes son filtrados para retirar los particulados submicronicos.
