Abstract
Un soporte de silice para utilizarse en la produccion de un catalizador de heteropoliacido soportado sobre silice de utilidad en la produccion de un eter carboxilico a partir de un acido monocarboxilico, olefina y agua, en donde el soporte se produce por tratamiento de granulos de gel de silice con vapor de agua a una temperatura del orden de 100 a 300 degree C durante un periodo de tiempo de 0,1 a 200hora s.
