Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un aislante eléctrico que comprende un componente exterior de configuración generalmente tubular formado a partir de un material polimérico, que substancialmente no permite la formación de un camino conductor carbonizado sobre la superficie, eléctricamente aislante, y un componente interior formado a partir de un material polimérico, eléctricamente aislante, no higroscópico, substancialmente homogéneo y que tiene un factor de flexión de cuando menos aproximadamente 0.5GPa a 23 grados centígrados.
