Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a acero de grano fino, de alta resistencia, tenaz, de baja aleación con bajo a medio contenido de carbono, el acero esencialmente consiste en peso de aproximadamente 0.5 a 4 por ciento de Cr, aproximadamente 0.05 a 0.5 por ciento de C, aproximadamente 0.5 a 2 por ciento de Mn, aproximadamente 0.1 a 2 por ciento de Cu, aproximadamente 0.1 a 3 por ciento de Ni, aproximadamente 0.01 a 0.05 por ciento de Al, hasta aproximadamente 0.02 por ciento de Ti, aproximadamente 0.005 a 0.04 por ciento de Nb y el resto esencialmente es hierro, incluyendo cantidades menores de elementos captadores de oxígeno, el acero se caracteriza por un tamaño de grano promedio inferior a aproximadamente 100 micras.
