Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en un procedimiento para separar bario respecto de sales de estroncio solubles en agua, CARACTERIZADAS por el hecho que abarca las etapas de: a) precipitar un material sólido mediante mezcladura de una solución acuosa de una sal de estroncio, que contiene bario, la cual posee un valor de pH entre aproximadamente 1 y aproximadamente 10, con un sulfato de un metal alcalino; b) separar el material sólido de la solución; y c) obtener la sal de estroncio agotada en cuanto a bario, a partir de la solución.
