Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento de tratamiento termico de un material a base de fibras minerales y que contienen un aglutinante que puede endurecerse bajo el efecto de reacciones de polimerización y/o de poli-condensación, caracterizado en que el aglutinante se trae bajo forma de una solución acuosa y ese material se somete a un campo de radiación hiperfrecuencial, el porcentaje de contenido en agua de ese material y la intensidad del campo de radiación se ajustan a niveles apropiados para provocar un calentamiento del material cuando menos hasta la temperatura mínima de disparo de las reacciones, en el seno del material; una corriente gaseosa calentada a cuando menos la temperatura mencionada mínima se proyecta sobre la superficie del material.
