Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a sistema para el mejoramiento de reactores para la síntesis heterogenea de metanol que comprende una cubierta exterior y un catalizador granular en capas y un medio de alimentación de gas comprimido dentro de las capas catalíticas, caracterizado porque la masa catalítica se divide en diversas capas, en serie, cada una de las cuales tiene un fondo y un diagragma espaciado de la superficie libre de la siguiente capa catalítica, de modo que se crea un espacio hacia la periferia exterior de la cual se alimenta el comprimido con objeto de lograr una mezcla óptima en dicho espacio, con el gas que reaccionó parcialmente y que corre axialmente a través de la capa catalítica superior, se introduce un tubo en la parte inferior y central hacia la capa catalítica superior para delimitar internamente la masa catalítica de las capas inferiores de la capa superior, la capa o capas inferiores con una caída máxima de presión, se transforman en una capa (s) con un flujo substancialmente radial, introduciendo dos paredes coaxiales con dicho tubo substancialmente perforado y que forma espacios de aire con la pared exterior del tubo, respectivamente.
