Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para tratar desperdicios incinerables, más particularmente aquéllos que tienen baja radioactividad, que comprenden substancias orgánicas y substancias minerales, las cuales incluyen radionúclidos, el procedimiento comprende triturar el desperdicio a un tamaño de partículas menor de 2 mm, llevar el desperdicio triturado dentro de la parte inferior de un baño basado en sílice fundida, por medio de un gas portador, vaciar el baño que contiene las substancias minerales, en especial los radionúclidos sólidos, en el caso del desperdicio nuclear, dentro de un contenedor y dejar que el baño solidifique dentro del contenedor.
